About Us

This is the multiple-award-winning Tampa Tap Room and it’s here you’ll find 40 taps of word-class beer (with an emphasis on quality craft brews and imports), a full liquor bar, wine, plenty of TV’s to watch must-see games, a pool room, and a menu with some of the most lip-smackingly-good Cajun and Creole dishes served east of Louisiana.

Have a beer with the owner, Norm Haney, at Tampa Tap Room, home of 40 taps of a variety of quality craft and imported brews and a full menu of classic Cajun dishes made from authentic Louisiana ingredients.

About the Owner

The space was taken over by Norm Haney in 2011. Norm lived and attended school in Louisiana, where he quickly fell in love with the culture, people, and -most of all- the food. The local cuisine inspired Norm to quit playing football to study hospitality management, and his passion for making uniquely flavorful Cajun meals remains just as strong nearly 40 years later.

Fresh Authentic Ingredients

Norm and his chef give careful attention to the authentic ingredience used in Tampa Tap Room’s entrees. French Bread, oysters, shrimp, boudin, and androuille sausage are all flown in weekly from New Orleans. The newly expanded menu includes an already popular “Blackened Bleu Pork Belly” entree made with heavenly Heritage Duroc pork; fresh calamari flown in from Rhode island; a tasty seafood basket; a couple of vegetarian dishes; a few more desserts; and a healthy new kids menu.
